The First 72 Hours at Home

A one-page checklist for the first days after discharge - routines, red flags, and who to call.

The first seventy-two hours home are a transition, not a finish line. This sheet gives you the routines that hold, the red flags that warrant a call, and the people who should know your plan.

Your Daily Anchors

  • Wake and sleep at the same time every day, even if you do not feel tired - stable sleep is the first medicine.
  • Two fixed check-ins: a morning intention and an evening inventory, five minutes each.
  • Keep medications visible and tied to an existing habit, like breakfast or brushing teeth.
  • Eat three meals and drink water before you reach for anything else.

Red Flags - Call Your Coach

  • Sleep drops below four hours for two nights in a row.
  • You start isolating, skipping calls, or canceling plans that felt fine last week.
  • A craving moves from passing to persistent - you can not put it down.

Your recovery coach is for the daily check-ins. Your clinical contact is for medication or therapy questions. 988 is for any moment that feels like more than a rough day.

Your next step starts with one call.

Recovery is a practice, not a destination - and you do not have to build it alone. Whether you are ready to begin admissions or simply have a question, our team is here 24 hours a day. No pressure, no judgment, only a conversation about what you need.
