A Day on the Mountain

What to Expect
During Your Stay.

A stay at Camp Baer keeps a rhythm: clinical work and the land held in balance. Here is the shape of a day, and the quieter life that grows inside it.

Dawn

Grounding Walk & Meditation

The day opens on the trail. A guided walk along the creek and a few minutes of stillness settle the nervous system before the clinical work begins.

Morning

Individual & Group Therapy

Structured sessions with licensed clinicians - CBT, DBT skills, and trauma-informed processing, one to one and in small groups.

Midday

Nourishment & Rest

Three chef-prepared meals a day, built around the season. A quiet rest hour protects the body's capacity for the deeper work.

Afternoon

Experiential & Wilderness Work

Nature-based work - mindful hiking, equine-supported sessions, and land stewardship - with the wilderness as an active partner in your care.

Evening

Community Reflection

Community circle and peer process groups. The relationships formed here are part of the treatment, not a break from it.

Night

Wind-Down & Sleep Hygiene

Screens away early, a calm close to the day, and clinical staff on site overnight. Rest is not a reward here; it is medicine.
